Rancho Park Territory

Rancho Park is a residential neighborhood with about 7,360 residents located in the Westside near Cheviot Hills with mostly single-family homes.

The neighborhood developed in the 1920s as a middle-class area. The housing mostly consisted of Spanish Colonial bungalows and ranch houses. Rancho Park features Pico Boulevard, which houses the Westside Pavilion shopping mall, and the Rancho Park Golf Course, which has an 18-hole layout, a banquet room, a clubhouse, locker rooms, a driving range, a pro shop, and more.

There are six public schools in the area: Westwood Elementary School, Overland Elementary School, Clover Elementary School, Emerson Middle School, Venice High School, and Hamilton High School.

Four private schools are also nearby: Notre Dame Academy, Lycée Français de Los Angeles, St. Timothy School, and Redeemer Baptist Elementary School. There is also one charter school – New West Charter Middle School.
